Do you believe that God longs to be in a close relationship with you? Do you believe that God wants to spend time with you?

Although our circumstances will be different from hers, all Christians must be prepared to do the same.

Christmas means that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. And the word that God spoke so powerfully through his Son is "I love you."

Do you try to live your life according to God’s word? Would the people who know you best agree with your answer to this question?

Why do you think it is so hard to pray? Why do you think it is so hard to concentrate on the most glorious person possible?

Reflect on the “great things” that Christ has done for you. You might want to write them down. Could you share this good news with others?

Are we aware of God’s presence in the ordinary, the mundane, and the everyday? Is God trying to get our attention? Are we paying attention?

Have you experienced the “deep gladness” that comes from “answering God’s call”—whatever that call may be?

Do you trust that God knows what we need more than we do?

Do you faithfully give? Why or why not? When you give your gifts to Jesus, do you do so grudgingly, because you’re “supposed” to?

When have you experienced disappointment because your dreams didn’t come true? Can you trust that God has a better dream for your life?

George tells God, “I’m not a praying man.” Like the tax collector in Jesus’ parable, he knows he isn’t worthy of God doing anything for him,

We often think that Christian faith should make our life easier. Does the Christmas story change that perception?

Do you ever struggle to believe God’s Word? If so, you’re in good company!

Spend time reflecting on how much you love your own children. Now tell yourself: God loves me like that but infinitely more.

If you, like the shepherds, have experienced the good news of Jesus Christ, are you sharing this good news “with haste”?

Can you relate to the saying, “Expectation is a planned resentment”? How has this been true for you?

What is God asking of you? What is God calling you to do?

Jesus Christ our Good Shepherd has come to rescue you, too. Will you agree to be rescued? Will you let him carry you home?

Do you believe that God has a plan and purpose for your life? Can you think of ways that God has used you to bless others?
